Hi,

I can't seem to find the information on the website.

I'm looking to get all of the necessary fork measurements to enable me to buy a headseat that fits. The key thing that you don't seem to publish is the crown race diameter.

Cane Creek have a very useful document (http://www.canecreek.com/docs/get-your-shis-straight.pdf) that provides a standardised naming system for headsets. In particular they mention ISO and JIS standards for crown races (ISO being 26.7mm diameter and JIS being 30.0mm diameter).

It would be an extremely helpful addition to your website if you could also list crown race diameters in mm.

Finally, I have bought a set of your CC-F0A25 forks. Can you advise what the crown race diameter is? I want to order a headset today, but need this bit of info!

Hi

For our 1 inch forks, the standard to look for is 1 Inch Professional. We will add the crown race seat dimension to the desciptions for 1 Inch steerer forks.

Most forks have a 1.1/8 in or 1.5 in lower steerer and there is only a single standard for the crown race seat size for these.

Thanks

Ok, I have measured and measured again. The correct measurement according to my calipers and forks is 26.5mm. I hope that the forum moderator can quickly get the (accurate) data on the website to save people getting in a muddle.

PS I pray that I have measured the correct bit - it's the lip at the bottom of the steerer about 4-5mm deep.

Customer services have confirmed 26.43 - 26.49mm after referring the question to their technical team. I have encouraged them to get the measurements up clearly on the website to save others the hassle (and help them sell great forks)!
