Technical riding on a Exotic, Pictures and thoughts

I'm personally a fan of the Carbon Cycles Exotic forks. Side by side comparisons next to a White Bros and they were identical in every way. With a 7 inch steerer mine weighed in at 1 lb 11 oz.

I weigh in at 208 lbs, owned the 46.5 cm Carbon version for 6 months and it has handled any technical feature I could throw at it from the Wet East Coast to the dry Colorado Rockies.

I've just ordered my 2nd Carbon Cycles fork, this time in a 42.5 cm aluminum version to keep cost down and I'm interested in feeling the vibration differences in the forks, carbon vs. aluminum . It will go on a 69'd(29er front wheel, 26" rear) Cove HandjobXC built out of Deep Cove, British Columbia. I'll get pictures up as soon as I have it built. I chose the 42.5 cm version to keep the angles approx the same as the bike would be built with a 100mm fork and a 26" front wheel. Check checking back.

Would it be possible for you to now do a 2nd minireview of the alu version? I'd be interested in the vibration differences too! Also, a follow up few words on the carbon forks might be nice too... they still go ok?

Lots of pics on there, too. If you don't feel like reading the reviews, then here's my opinion in a nutshell... it's an awesome fork, holds up well even at race speeds, and I'm extremely happy with it. However, if you do plan on XC racing (and you want to win), you're better off with a suspension fork.
