ive not long purchased aset of carbon forks from yourselves and im wanted to buy a replacement cap and star nut,
im looking at the carbon cap & clamp or the superlight carbon, both similar priced. so apart from weight can anyone tell what makes one better than the other, why, performance, durability, ease of adustment etc
appreciated to help me to decide

Both CC-E04 and CC-E05 have a carbon top cap and both use a wedge rather than star nut.
The super light weight CC-E05 is 1/3rd of the weight of CC-E04.
With CC-E04 the clamping force is spread more evenly on the inside of the steerer. Our steerer tubes are made of carbon, alloy or CrMo and all are easily able to withstand either type of wedge system.
Some people have reported that CC-E04 is a little easier to use too.
