26&29" Carbon forks, same or different offset/rake?

Would like to know about that. I'm planning to order two Carbon-forks, one for my older mtb which now has old Sid 80mm/Magura HS33's and I use that bike now for city cycling and one for my hybridbike(29"/discs).

I already measured that 425mm fork with V/disc-mounts is suitable for that mtb, but I'm not sure if I order 465mm 29" or 445mm 26" fork for my hybrid.

As I said that bike has discs and it now has SR's NX9 hybridsusp-fork which is arount that 465-470 long. But I think that maybe that bike would benefit if its angles steepens a little, thats why I consider 445mm fork.

Hi

If you are running disc only then you can use a 445mm 26 in fork on your 29er. By doing this you are affecting the geometry in more ways than just the head angle. It is a personal choice, of course, and there is no right or wrong answer. If it works for you, then that's what matters.

Thanks
